Summer 2027 will be here before we know it, and we’re excited to welcome our Polar Bears back to the pool for another season of swimming, friendships, fun, and RSM traditions. 2027 season information is listed below and will be updated as additional details become available.

• Registration Dates:
  • Returning team member registration will open February 1.
  • Polar Cub siblings can register starting Feb 1
  • New team members interest list will open on Feb 1 and new members will be contacted about registration based on availability after Feb 15. Additional information can be found here. 

• Dates/Practice Schedule:
  • Practice schedule both pre-season and regular season are located here
  • Preseason runs from April 13th through June 1st
  • Regular season runs from June 3rd through July 25th
  • Meet schedule will be available soon.

• Polar Cubs Program (info here):  
  • Polar Cubs is RSM’s spring learn-to-swim program for children ages 4–6. Swimmers should already showing early water safety skills, meaning they are comfortable putting their face in the water and can swim a few yards unassisted while taking a breath. They do not need to have mastered the strokes and we expect Polar Cubs to still be learning and developing their freestyle and backstroke.
  • Polar cubs runs from April 13th to May 4th which includes daily lessons, culminating in the Polar Cubs mini meet May 4th.

• Evaluation Day: 
  • All new swimmers who are new to swim team and/or RSM are asked to participate in a brief evaluation with our head coach, Christian. Evaluations are very relaxed and are simply an opportunity for Coach to meet your swimmer, get a sense of their comfort and current abilities in the water, and ensure they’re placed in the best environment to feel confident and successful on the team. Evaluation time slots in February will be posted on February 1st.

15-18 year old swimmer and a NON-MEMBER	$225
Polar Cub SWIM CLUB MEMBER	$450
Polar Cub NON-SWIM CLUB MEMBER	$500

Note all swim team members (except 15-18's) are required to join the swim club and must be in good standing (dues paid) in order to swim.
