Note: Prospective swimmers who are 7+ years of age should be proficient in freestyle and backstroke prior to joining the team. To gain proficiency, candidates may choose to enroll in private swim lessons before joining. Interested swimmers who are 6 years old or younger must be able to swim the length of the pool but need not be proficient in freestyle or backstroke.

Indemnity Agreement

Indemnification and Hold Harmless: I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Rancho San Miguel Swim Club and Rancho San Miguel Swim Team from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in the Rancho San Miguel Swim Team and to reimburse them for any expenses incurred.

Severability: I further expressly agree that this waiver and assumption of risks agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permissible by the law of the State of California, and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, fully understand its terms and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

RSM Swimmer, Parent and Coaches Code of Conduct

I have reviewed and understand the 2026 RSM Swimmer, Parent and Coaches Code of Conduct. By checking this box I acknowledge that I, (the parent/guardian) and the swimmer(s) agree to abide by this Code and accept the penalties for not abiding by these rules. Any non-compliance may be subject to disciplinary action determined by the coaches and/or the RSM Board.

Fee Policy
  • County meet, the league championship meet, and all-city entry fees are to be paid by team.
  • Woodlands invitational individual and relay entry fees will be paid by participating swimmer/family.
  • Swimmer no-show’s at invitational meets will be responsible for fee’s.
  • A “No show” for a job will be fined $300 and issued immediately after occurrence.
  • "No show" fines can be appealed to RSM Board for consideration up to 48 hours after occurrence.
  • "No show" fees are due 7 days after occurrence OR 7 days after Board decision.
  • Above "no show" rules apply to dual meets and Invitational meets.
  • Failure to pay outstanding fees will result in your swimmer(s) not being able to participate in practice or meets until fees are paid.
  • Partial refund may be refundable due to medical or extenuating circumstances. No fees will be refunded after June 1st.
